The same signal, on both platforms.
o2a builds indicators in Pine Script first, then ports each one line by line to MetaTrader 5 and checks it bar by bar against TradingView. What you see on your TradingView chart is what draws in MT5.
Indicators
Each one is a full drawing tool, not just a line: signals, levels, zones and the higher-timeframe context behind them.
Pine is the reference. MT5 has to match it.
Most MT5 versions of TradingView indicators are rewrites that drift. Ours start from the Pine source and are checked against it before release.
Write it in Pine
The indicator is designed and tested on TradingView. That source is the truth every other version is measured against.
Port it line by line
Pine's own behaviour is copied too: how a higher-timeframe value maps to each chart bar, warm-up periods, and the 500-object drawing limits.
Compare bar by bar
The same window is exported from both platforms and compared value by value and signal by signal.
Explain every gap
A difference is released only when it is traced to the data feed, never to the logic.
| Where TradingView and MT5 differ | What we do about it |
|---|---|
| TradingView plots the mid price; an MT5 bar is the bid | Optional mid-price mode adds half the spread, so levels line up |
| Brokers' feeds differ by a few cents a bar, and tick volume is not traded volume | We state it in each indicator's notes; a signal right on a threshold can land one bar apart |
| Broker server clocks run on their own time zone | Session and kill-zone times are set from a server-offset input |
| MT5 objects have no transparency | Fills are blended toward your chart background, with a dark preset for black charts |

Questions
Do the TradingView and MT5 versions show the same signals?
They run the same logic. On the same bars they draw the same signals; where your broker's prices differ from TradingView's feed, a signal sitting exactly on a threshold can fire one bar apart. Each indicator's notes list what was compared and how closely it matched.
Do the indicators repaint?
Signals are confirmed on closed candles, and higher-timeframe values come from the last closed higher-timeframe candle. The forming bar can change until it closes, as on any chart.
Which markets and timeframes?
They work on any symbol. They were developed on gold (XAUUSD) and the Nasdaq 100 on 1-minute to 15-minute charts, with higher-timeframe inputs from 15 minutes to 1 hour.
Is this an automated trading system?
No. These are indicators: they draw and alert. Trading decisions and risk stay with you.
Can I use one licence on two computers?
Yes, for your own accounts. MT5 licences are tied to your account numbers; TradingView access is tied to your username.
